Headquartered in the East Bay, the Berkeley Rugby Football Club brings together rugby lovers of all nationalities from the greater Bay Area. Founded in Spring 2004, we have enjoyed great success in the NorCal DIII league, with four consecutive post-season appearances. After a stellar 2010 season, Berkeley RFC was promoted to DII and have developed into a highly competitive team. During winter, we train on Monday Nights at the Gilman Sports Complex in Berkeley & play regular games at Gilman Field in Berkeley.

Berkeley RFC began their existence playing in the most competitive D3 league in the nation. They are the only team that has beaten every other NorCal D3 team, and have now been promoted in D2. They also field a B side for part-time and less experienced players, and an Old Boys team, the “BOBs.” Over summer, BRFC play touch rugby twice a week, and have a rugby 7s team. New players welcome anytime!
